There is a very healthy collectible card scene here at Drom's. We have weekly tournaments for Magic: the Gathering, Yugioh and VS System. Check out our "Events" page to see the schedule. We also have daily casual games played at the tables and fairly frequent pick-up drafts of Magic for you draft addicts.
Yugioh is generally played on Sundays at 4pm, but any group is welcome to come down during business hours to play!
For those of you who think that the game is dead or was dying, take a look at this, our most recent Yu-Gi-Oh! event.

Does that look like a dead game to you? You might notice a familiar face too, Alex Arbios, finger in mouth has been a Godsend to this shop for the Yu-Gi-Oh! community. Thanks Alex!
The Magic players at Drom's focus heavily on three formats: Standard, Draft and Elder Dragon Highlander (EDH). If you don't know what EDH is, check the site at the bottom of this page out, throw a deck together and head down to the shop. There are almost always a few players trolling around for EDH games!

EDH League Play!
Check our Events page for entry fees and times!
We are doing our best to keep the game fun for competitive and casual players alike! There will be different ways to win prizes, with ideas taken from the main EDH website and our previous experience with league play. Prizes will be given out in the form of store credit. All entry fees will be put back into the prize pool and at the end of the league we will tally the points and award prizes as follows: First place (most amount of points acquired) gets 50% of the prize pool, second place (second most points acquired) gets 30% of the prize pool and third place (third most points acquired) gets 20% of the prize pool.
How to get points!
Come into the shop and play with any other league player(s) and keep track of the following:
You get one point for each player who is taken out of the game before you. This includes concessions, so make sure you have the time to play before you start a game or you will be giving points to everybody else! So if you play in a four player game and you take second place (meaning two other players lose before you do), you get two points. The winner of the game would get three points.
You get a point for each player you take out of the game via "General Damage." If you deal the final points of a total 21 points of combat damage by a single general to a single player, that player is taken out of the game and you get one point for a "General Kill."
At the end of the game if you were the one who dealt the most combat damage in a single turn, had the biggest mana pool and/or paid the most mana for a General, then you get a point for each of these conditions you met during that game.
At the end of the game, report the results to the shop to have them recorded towards your total.
The restrictions: Follow the gameplay and deck-building rules listed at the main EDH website. We are not taking reservations for generals for the league. You can come to the store with whatever general you want to play with and not worry if somebody already reserved your general. We are using the 10-card sideboard rules. You cannot play the same opponents over and over without having atleast one different player in the game. So if John, Chris and Wes all play a league game, they cannot play another league game until they get atleast one different opponent. Even if one of the three decide to not play the next game, one new player is needed. Any games including non-league players do not count toward the league records. This is to prevent any unfair play.

David and Wes playing some EDH at the counter. Phelddagrif deals lethal general damage this game! Serious!
